| 1. Compression Type Dead End Clamps : |
Compression clamps & jumpers are made up of Extruded Aluminium and sleeves in galvanised forged steel. Due to high mechanical reliability & superior electrical conductivity compression type dead end clamps are most widely accepted for EHV transmission systems. Problem of local heating effects & conductor fusion in EHV lines is eliminated by using these type of dead end clamps. Also it provides better corona & RIV characteristics. |

| 2. MIDSPAN COMPRESSION JOINTS : |
Midspan Compression Joints are used for joining two lengths of conductors. They are of compression type and comprises of Aluminium extruded tube, inner sleeve of HDG Steel and two filler plugs. . The joints have a resistivity of less than 75% of the resistivity of equivalent length of conductor. The joints do not permit slipping off, damage or failure of the complete conductor or any part thereof at a load less than 95% of the ultimate tensile strength of the conductor. |

| 3. REPAIR SLEEVES : |
Repair Sleeves of compression type are used to repair the conductor with strands broken in the outer layer. They are manufactured from Aluminium extrusion and comprises of two peices with a provision of sliding of the keeper piece. |
